The toilet is an important part to any new bathroom design. Make sure to get a pristine and energy efficient model. Installing a new toilet requires some know-how and skill, but if you want to give it a shot, check out the video above.
The first thing to do is to install the phalange. The cast iron from the pipes is cut down to fit the new phalange. The area is cleaned with vacuums to remove dirt and debris. Then the phalange is lined up and drilled into place. Tighten the inner bolts to expand the rubber to the outside of the cast iron pipe.
The next step is to install a shut off valve to the supply line. There is a copper pipe in your bathroom that you will attach it to. No nuts, bolts, or screwing. Just place the valve on securely and you’re set to go.
Next, attach an adapter to the phalange. The adapter will help you get more energy efficiency from your toilet. Finally, connect the pipes to the toilet yourself, make sure the water lines are working, and you’re good!
